Ever since my childhood, I have been interested in animal behaviour, ecology, and science in general.
My interest in biology, and especially animal behaviour and Ecology led me to do my Masters and PhD in the ULB and a Postdoc in Okinawa, Japan.
I was specially interested in their behaviour and Besides the different kinds of insects and arachnids I found in my garden when I was a child, I remember watching Sir David Attenborough's documentaries
With time I got interested in other aspects of biology, and when I entered the Université libre de Bruxelles I had the opportunity to visit, and study in, laboratories that were more concentrated on microbiology subjects. I found those subjects to be great, however during my Master years I had my first contact with collective behaviour. I found the subject to be extremely interesting and, once I obtained my Master degree, decided to continue my research as a PhD student at the Unit of Social Ecology, ULB. I succesfully obtained my PhD degree on October 15 2015. Currently I am a JSPS postdoctoral fellow in the faculty of agriculture, University of the Ryukyus, in the laboratory of Professor Kazuki Tsuji.
Besides biology I am interested in history. XXXXX
